For work that requires a licensed electrical contractor, check the current official license record and its scope. Match the name and business to the offer. An archived record, a logo or a statement on a recruiting page does not establish current authorization.
For a private school, check the institution and relevant program through the appropriate education authority. Public institutions and registered apprenticeships have different oversight arrangements. “Licensed education” is not one universal label.
For apprenticeship, confirm the sponsor, program, employer arrangement and your actual registration. For a job, obtain a current vacancy or offer directly from the employer. None of these checks substitutes for the others.
FLI’s regional pages provide source-backed starting points. They do not certify every listed organization, promise an available seat or establish that a company is hiring today. When FLI has not checked a fact, the useful answer is “not confirmed.”
Review total cost, cancellation terms and any placement claim before paying a school. Ask what happens if you do not get a job. You deserve an answer that is specific enough to compare.

A question worth asking
“Who is my employer or sponsor, what exactly am I enrolling in, and which facts can I independently verify?”
