How we check
A useful recommendation states what was checked, against which source and what remains unresolved. “Verified” should not cover facts nobody reviewed.
Four separate questions
- Contractor license: the current official record must match the business and the work requiring licensure.
- Education: the appropriate authority must establish institutional or program status for that type of provider.
- Apprenticeship: confirm the sponsor, program, employment arrangement and the individual’s registration.
- Vacancy: the employer must confirm that the opening or offer is current.
At this release, regional pages contain starting points with official or provider sources. They do not contain confirmed vacancies or placement agreements. County groups are editorial groupings, not program jurisdictions.
How we handle commercial recommendations
An optional purchase must fit the reader’s real next step. We state any FLI compensation before the link. Local programs cannot buy a better ranking or alter a public record. No commercial agreement substitutes for checking requirements.
Corrections and changes
Each page collects its sources at the end so you can read uninterrupted and check afterward. Review dates do not promise future availability. To report a changed fact, write to [email protected] with the page and current source.
